レッスンの最後に歌って、終わりの雰囲気を作りましょう。皆で最後に大きな声で歌うことで、『あぁ、今日も楽しかった！』と印象づけることができます。最初よりも、声が出るので皆で楽しく元気よく歌うことができるでしょう。子どもたち自身の名前を入れて歌いましょう。
I would love to see you soonは、『また会えることを楽しみにしています』というフレーズです。少しかしこまった言い方ですので、友達同士ならSee you!と言ってもいいですね。
"It's coming to the end of our lesson. Let's finish off with the Good Bye Song! Starting from this end, we're going to sing our names in order."などの指示を出しましょう。

この歌は　幼児さんにぴったり。動きのある　activityのあと、席につかせるために歌うといいでしょう。
２番を歌い終わる頃にはしっかり静かになって手をお膝に乗せていますよ。
＊them は両方の手のことですね。

 ♪on, in, underなどの前置詞を学んだときや、復習のときに歌ってみましょう。
歌詞に入っているdrawerは引き出しのことです。Drawは引く、ですので、簡単に言うと、引くものと言う意味になりますね。

探している物の単語や、場所の単語を変えて歌ってみましょう。

先日、生徒さんにKids CD の曲の使い方指導していましたが、全曲私が歌っているというと、
「うそ〜、何で先生が歌ったん？」・・・・だれでも歌えるよ、って励みになるでしょ？　「あ、そーか。」
そのあと、Kids CD for baby の使い方に。この for baby は、子守唄などさすがに私の声量ではダメでしょう、とバークリーで学んだ上、アメリカでミュージカル出演等で活躍するShiki さんというとっても実力ある女性に歌ってもらっています。それを聞いて生徒、
「え〜？先生こんな上手な人と並んで歌っていいの？」・・・・だから、これもある意味、励みにしてちょうだい！！
そんな「こんな上手な人」のバースデーソングを。バースデーソングって世界一よく歌われている歌なんですって。

 
お山の一軒や、小さいおじさん窓際に立っていた。
そこへウサギがやってきて、ドアをトントンノックした。

「小さなウサギや、お入りなさい、もう大丈夫だからね。」
 

 

一度は耳にしたことのある曲ですね。1940年のJimmie DavisとVharles Michellの有名な曲です。その後、Ray Charlesなど、数多くのアーティストにより 歌われてきました。歌詞もそんなに難しくなく、簡単に歌えますよ。ぜひお試しください。
