知る人ぞ知る、ルイアームストロングの名曲です。1968年にヒットしました。穏やかで美しい曲ですが、実はベトナム戦争時に平和な世界を夢見て書かれた曲です。ジャズのスタンダード「サマータイム」もそうですが、自分の強烈な想いを書いたものってなぜか心を打たれます。現に「この素晴らしい世界」も今聞いても色あせていないし、シドニーでも日本でもCMに使われていました。著名シンガー達も多々コピーしています。最近なぜか私の頭の中でよくこの曲が鳴りだし、つい口ずさんでしまいます。いや、危なくないですよ〜。とっても素敵な歌詞なので訳してみますね。（私感覚の意訳ですが）
